muddying up my blog with Blogger issues; however, I don't feel I have much choice in the matter. I tried to leave a comment on my OWN blog (and other blogs as well) this morning (in response to a comment) and was continually redirected to the sign in page. What's up with that? Blogger redirects me to the sign in page when leaving comments if I select Google Account when choosing a Profile. If I choose Anonymous, the comment goes through. It happens whether I'm using an IE browser or not. I tried seeking a solution through Blogger and was unsuccessful in finding a solution. Ugh. Frustrating. If anyone out there knows the answer why this is happening and can shed light on a solution, please leave a comment....that is if Blogger lets you. LOL!

I've not been able to leave a comment on a blogger blog where you have to sign in to blogger for months. I can only assume that blogger knows of the problem. It can be very frustrating

ReplyDeleteI run into that every once in a while. This is what I do in order if the first option, etc. doesn't work.
1. Refresh the page where I am trying to leave a comment. Try again.
2. Close the page with comments and go back to the original posters page and refresh. Try again.
3. Close the original posters page and reopen. Try again.
4. Refresh the page with my blogger dashboard. Open up posters main page and try again.
5. Log out of blogger and then log back in. Try again.
6. Reboot my pc. Try again.
7. Assume that blogger is having problems and try again later that day or the next day. :-)

Madonna--The constant redirect to the sign-in page happened to me, too. Try going into "tools" and dump your cookies. Worked for me, anyway.

I'll be trying your's and all of Cyn's suggestions one by one by one. If you're reading this, I'm using my iPhone which is, apparently, working. ReplyDeleteI've had the same problem many times! I find if I type in my URL, that sometimes works. Now my new problem with Blogger is that all of a sudden the type size went to miniscule! Nothing seems to enlarge it.
